A woman with curly hair, wearing denim shorts and brown boots, sits on a rocky landscape with her arms raised above her head, leaning against a large rock formation under a clear blue sky.

Self Portraits

Self portraiture has been an exploration of inhabiting muse and artist simultaneously. Drifting in the world between worlds. Holding both the objective lens and an inner connectedness that is at the heart of allowing myself to be seen. Without seeking to manipulate the moment. It’s a conversation with self.

I am always captivated by exploring different landscapes on my travels. Creating in collaboration with the land, navigating terrain with my body, I am touching the nature in each place, allowing myself to be led by what’s there. The way the ground feels beneath me. The current of waters, air, how the sun feels. And how I feel connected to each place. Each place is utterly unique. And always changing.

Below is a small selection of photos from of some of my self portrait series.
